“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3 (NIV)
Dear Sister,
If you’re reading this, something in you is whispering: It’s time.
Time to stop pretending it didn’t hurt.
Time to stop letting what happened define what’s possible.
Time to let the healing begin — even if you’re scared.
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting.
It doesn’t mean what happened was okay.
It means you’re ready to live beyond it.
You may not feel strong. That’s okay.
Healing starts with a willing heart, not a perfect one.
God isn’t asking you to fix it all today.
He’s simply asking: Will you let Me in?
Into the memories you avoid.
Into the anger you hide.
Into the fear that healing will hurt more than the wound.
But Sister, it won’t.
Because healing doesn’t come to shame you — it comes to free you.
And freedom is your birthright as a daughter of the King.
So take that first step: talk to Him honestly.
Let the tears come. Let the walls fall. Let the light in.
Your healing might not be loud. It might be quiet and slow and sacred.
It might be messy. But it will be real.
And it will be worth it.
You don’t have to do it alone. We’re in this gap together.
You’re not just surviving anymore.
You’re healing.
Love,
Another Sister in the Gap
