“Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” – Psalm 34:5 (NIV)

Dear Sister,

Let’s speak truth that shame doesn’t want you to hear:

What you did is not who you are.
What happened to you is not your name.
What broke you is not what defines you.

Shame is heavy, isn’t it?
It follows you like a shadow—reminding you of your lowest moments.
It plays your past on repeat and whispers, “You’re still her.”

But you are not her anymore.
Even if you don’t feel changed, healing has already started because you’ve dared to keep going.
You’ve dared to still believe that maybe… just maybe… you’re worth saving.

And Sister—you are.

Jesus didn’t just die for the cleaned-up version of you.
He died for the woman who’s been used.
The woman who made that choice.
The one who didn’t say no.
The one who went back.
The one who stayed silent.
The one who swore she was done—but wasn’t.

He died for you, just as you are—and He rose so shame wouldn’t have the last word.

Shame says “hide.”
Grace says “come.”
Shame says “you’ll never be more than this.”
God says, “You’re already mine.”

So today, bring it all to Him—no filter.
Lay the guilt, the regret, the secret parts down at His feet.
He will not turn away.
He already turned the cross into your clearing.

You don’t have to carry shame anymore.

Your past has a name—forgiven.
Your present has a purpose—healing.
And your future? Glory.

Love,
