“The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.” – Psalm 145:14 (NIV)
Dear Sister,
Failure has a way of shouting louder than grace.
It reminds you of every wrong turn, every broken promise, every time you tried and came up short.
You replay your mistakes like a broken record… and maybe you’ve started to believe that you are one.
But hear this, Sis: failure is an event — not your identity.
You are not your past.
You are not your addiction.
You are not what they said about you.
You are not the relationship that didn’t work.
You are not the mom who didn’t do it all right.
You are still becoming — and that takes time.
God isn’t disappointed in your stumbles.
He’s not surprised by your mess.
He’s still holding out His hand to lift you up.
He doesn’t give up on women who fall — He builds them back stronger.
Failure is not final in the Kingdom. It’s just the soil where grace takes root.
You may have messed up, but you’re still loved.
You may feel behind, but God has not missed your moment.
You may not have done it all “right,” but you’re still right where He can reach you.
Your mistakes don’t cancel your purpose.
In fact, they just might prepare you for it.
So today, give yourself the same grace He already gave you.
You’re not a failure — you’re a fighter.
And even now, He’s working beauty from your brokenness.
Keep walking, Sister.
You’re further than you think.
Love,
Another Sister in the Gap
